Learning the Guitar

Thomas's brother Jackson has been teaching a small group some songs on the guitar.  We are going to play these at the end of the term.  They have been learning Superstition, Country Roads and This Old Man.  We will post some videos of our progress soon.  Thanks for helping us Jackson.

Musical Art

This term Te Anau School has been working on music for our topic. Room 12 have been working on doing art to music. We have been working how the music makes us feel when it's played and what colours and scenery it represents. Some songs we have tried this strategy with are: Aotearoa by Stan Walker and CĂ©line Dion All By Myself.

Here is a video of us doing our work: Click Here

This is Chloe's art that represents: the Maori song Aotearoa

This is also Chloe's that represents: sad music:(

This is Caitlins it represents: Maori religion

This is Connors. The colours represent what he felt listening to Aotearoa

This is Emma's it represents heartbreak

This is Destinies it represents Maori culture
