Last week Mrs Foote was teaching the year 5’s. For Maths we did mapping , it was all based on new Zealand. We Had to measure the distance from place to place example Kaitaia to Auckland the answers are 324km by road,300km by air as the crow flies,24km difference. Marking took forever because Mrs Foote had to measure on her map and then calculate it. Some of us found it easy and some found it hard.
